Macon Pops Brings World-Class Music to Middle Georgia

A Different Kind of Pops
After a show at Cox Capitol Theatre in 2013, Grammy-nominated drummer and percussionist, Steve Moretti, and Grammy-award winning arranger and pops conductor, Matt Gatingub, had an idea—a new kind of pops in Macon. They went out for coffee and started to hash it out, and the result is the Macon Pops we see today, an event that does away with the stuffier aspects of pops and adds fun elements like food, drinks, and an open dance club vibe where attendees can dance, mix, mingle, and hoot and holler while they enjoy high quality 40-piece pops.

Dancing Through the Decades 3!
