2019 RAM 1500

In the powertrain of the 2019 RAM 1500, you'll find more power in the 3.0L EcoDiesel V6 that delivers 395 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque. The 1500 receives an efficient 27 highway/mpg and offers nine different trim levels. Also included are:

2019 Ford F-150

There are four different powertrain options on the 2019 Ford F-150, each of which comes standard with a six-speed automatic transmission with a mode for tow hauling. These include:

  • 3.3L V6 engine that delivers 290 hp and 265 lb-ft of torque
  • Turbocharged 2.7L V6 engine that delivers 325 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque
  • 5.0L V8 engine that delivers 395 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque
  • Turbocharged 3.5L V6 that delivers 375 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque

A properly equipped V8 model is capable of handling a best-in-class towing capacity of up to 13,200 pounds! The Ford F-150 is built with a unique and high-strength, military-grade aluminum frame that is able to maximize fuel economy without compromising toughness. The F-150 starts at $27,380 MSRP, and it's available in regular, extended, and crew cab configurations, as well as with a 5.5-foot, 6.5-foot, or 8-foot bed.

2019 Honda Ridgeline

While the 2019 Honda Ridgeline is technically situated in the midsize pickup truck segment, Honda's unique pickup option is certainly worthy of consideration for those who don't need quite as much power and who prize comfort, versatility, and everyday transport in their truck. Unlike the other pickups listed here, the Ridgeline is based on a unibody design and is offered with FWD and AWD. Every version of this pickup is powered by a 3.5L V6 that makes 280 hp and 262 lb-ft of torque, and a properly equipped model with AWD can tow up to 5,000 pounds. This pickup comes well-equipped out of the gate with innovative features like:

  • 60/40 Split Lift-Up Rear Seats

The Ridgeline has an MSRP from $29,630. There are seven different trim levels available, and every model features a four-door crew cab setup that can comfortably seat five adult passengers.

2019 Nissan Titan XD

The 2019 Nissan Titan XD has an Endurance® 5.6L, 32-valve V8 engine with a seven-speed transmission, and it delivers 390 hp and 394 lb-ft of torque. You get the option of three different cabs including the Single Cab, Crew Cab, and King Cab with a max towing capacity of 12,030 pounds. Go with the 2019 Toyota Tundra, and you’ll have two different engines to pick from, both of which come standard with a six-speed automatic transmission. The engines are a 4.6L V8 that delivers 310 hp and 327 lb-ft of torque or a 5.7L V8 engine that delivers 381 hp and 401 lb-ft of torque. The Tundra can tow up to 10,500 pounds when properly equipped and is offered in regular cab, extended cab, and crew cab configurations, as well as with a 5.5-foot, 6.5-foot, or 8.1-foot bed.
